ARcade Fire to Perform at Juno Awards Via Video

first_imgThey’re leading the pack with six nominations including a nod for album of the year, but due to a jam-packed tour schedule, Montréal indie rockers Arcade Fire won’t be making the Juno Awards.Currently in the thick of their tour in support of “Reflektor,” Arcade Fire will be in Santiago, Chile for Lollapalooza but will appear during Canada’s music awards via a taped performance.The awards show –which will be broadcast live on CTV on March 30th—will feature a number of other live performances including Tegan and Sara, Sarah MacLachlan, Robin Thicke, The Sheepdogs and others.Presented annually by the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences to Canadian musical artists, this year’s Juno awards will take place in Winnipeg.– Sarah Compolast_img
